Salty Maiden is in its fourth season of WOWing guests. We're pleased to offer returning guests the option of booking their Salty Maiden stay directly, which saves the guest fees charged by Airbnb. Booking through Airbnb is available for new guests and returning visitors who prefer to book that way. We're proud to have earned prestigious Superhost and "Guest Favourite" statuses as well as 100% 5 star reviews (read them HERE).  Guests can expect the same exceptional experience regardless of their booking method.

How Does Direct Booking Work?

Returning guests can check to see if your preferred dates are available using the calendar on our Airbnb listing HERE. Then, just drop us a line and let us know who's in your party and your preferred dates. We’ll send you an electronic invoice which outlines pricing, which you can pay directly online by credit card. If you’re considering a few different date ranges just indicate this and we can send multiple invoices so you can see the total price for each option to compare — then pay whichever one correspond to the dates you’d like to book and we’ll cancel the other invoices. Payment of the invoice secures your dates. Shortly thereafter we’ll send along a short term rental agreement which will be the same as the “House Rules/Policies” section on our Airbnb booking page (read it HERE) and the cancellation policy (read it HERE) will be the same as well.

Interested in a Longer-Term Stay?

​

While Salty Maiden functions as a thriving short-term rental during the summer season, as of September 2025 it will be available for tenants looking to "nest" for longer stretches during the 9 month off-season. The cottage is move-in ready, with everything from linens and towels to flatware and baking accoutrements. Contact us for the tenant application form, rental agreement and further details.
